Yesterday bills were entered into the House of representatives to change the metals of the penny and nickel to steel. Nickels cost over 9 cents to make and the metal is worth about 5.1 cents a coin currently and this is with depressed commodities prices. I do not think it will be long until you have to start looking through the nickels to get the good ones. Hay at least the Chinese aren't counterfeiting these!
